Business Description:
The Candidate
Emco is looking for a person who is committed to creating an environment that challenges the norms and looks for exciting and efficient ways to improve processes. The successful candidate wants to grow and develop and be part of a World Class team that is able to manage multiple projects while maintaining the accuracy of our National product files that house all of our product information. The candidate will possess a willingness to get involved in understanding the processes and systems involved in Product Group activities, as well as the users of the underlying data, while maintaining an active role within the team. The goal of keeping it simple for the Profit Centres is a driving force.
Profile
The Team Leader is accountable for the overall environment within Product Group and the interactions with the Profit Centres. The challenge will be to improve the processes while problem solving through challenges and new software implementation.
Duties include the overall administration of the product database using SX Enterprise ERP System while transitioning maintenance to new SQL master database software. The candidate will liaise and work closely with a team developing rich and full product descriptions for online sales and will ensure the processes are fully integrated. As well, the candidate will maintain his/her own portfolio of vendor files and will work within the team to update all pricing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Training and developing a World Class Product Management Group team
· Implementing the integration EpaCube into the current system
· Responsible for maintaining, updating and ensuring accuracy in a portfolio of vendor files used by our Profit Centres
· Responsible to implement and maintain the national sku process
· Responsible to develop and maintain pricing and product update process in a timely fashion that meets our Profit Centre expectations
· Profit Centre focused - ensuring processes support the goals of the Profit Centres
· Maintaining the MSDS file
· Interfacing with pricing managers, buyers, vendors and Profit Centre Managers
· Supporting through training, communication and project involvement, all on-going changes to company systems and practices initiated by Emco’s National Support Centre
Entrance Requirements:
Educational Requirements
· University degree preferred
Work Experience
· 3+ years of work experience, preferably working with large electronic files
Skills and Experience
· Product knowledge in the area of Plumbing or Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or Pipe, Valves and Fittings or Waterworks strongly desired
· Proven ability to drive change
· Experience with a database tools and SQL master database
· Strong ability to work with formulas, multiple data sources and Macro’s in Microsoft Excel
· Outstanding relationship building skills
· Exceptional conflict resolution and problem solving skills
· Detail oriented – comfortable working with large spreadsheets
· Ability to manage multiple initiatives at one time
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
· Bilingualism would be an asset
